Sim Martin with special guest Jimmie Sloggett One of our favourites... Sim Martin is undoubtedly one of Melbourne's best singers & guitarists... his soft soul voice is quite remarkable, and is reminiscent of the old greats Otis Redding & Ray Charles. He delivers a beautiful & joyful musical journey rendering his audience transfixed. You can't help but be captivated! Jimmie Sloggett is known throughout the entertainment industry as one of Australia’s most experienced musicians having played with such artists as Johnny O’Keefe, Max Merritt & the Meteors and Cold Chisel amongst many others.
Steve Purcell with Dai Jones Masters Purcell and Jones have been playing Jump Blues, Swing and RnB togeather for nigh on 25 years, starting in the 80's with the Swingin Sidewalks and currently with the Pearly Shells. 10 strings, four legs and a Jukebox for a brain. "
Continental Drift Anton and Wylva (who plays Double Bass) are our WELL LOVED MOTHERS DAY ACT... A string trio, sometimes a quartet with Jen Hawley and Terry Cole to play a wide range of music often described as “European Café” style of sweet swinging gypsy jazz. They are not only fabulously talented musicians but are incredibly entertaining for everyone - especially the children!
Ced le Medelo duo Back by popular demand from Valentines Day, Ced's guided tour around Spanish romance and French sensibility, his fingerpicking and percussive drumming of the guitar make his performance a lively and colorful musical experience. Attila is a madman on the fiddle - bringing much excitement and skill to the table - and we really mean to the dinner table!
